Bridge Conference Minister The Rev. Marilyn Kendrix writes: "I don't know about you but I have felt the need to gather with African American Colleagues to talk about the pain of this time.  Please join me for this meeting with the Rev. Dr. Terrlyn Curry Avery whose practice centers on healing that focuses on the synergy between pastoring and psychology.  Dr. Curry Avery’s intersection of two complementary fields is much-needed especially now with so much going on in our nation."

Dr. Curry Avery has been a guest on multiple podcasts discussing this topic and more.  She is passionate about issues of social justice and as the previous Regional Director of Pacific Educational Group traveled the country training educators on issues of systemic racism and implicit bias. In response to highly-charged racial tensions in America in the last decade, Dr. Curry Avery facilitated interracial and intra-racial dialogue within communities that was aimed at racial reconciliation.
