The Rev. Stoddard (Todd) Blake Williams, aged 93, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 surrounded by his devoted family. Todd is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joan (Wilbraham) Williams, daughter Katharine Dutton (Robert), and son-in-law Allen Gumpenberger, grandchildren David Foster (Lindsey), Ian (Jessica), Chelsea (Emma) and Brendan Dutton (Cindy), Caleb and Elias Gumpenberger, as well as great-grandchildren Gavin, Harper, and Levi Foster, Beckett and Hadley Dutton.  He was predeceased by his sister Shirley Williams Homes and his daughter Kristina Joy Williams Gumpenberger.

Todd was born in Springfield, MA to James R. and Elberta (Blake) Williams. He attended Boston University, served in the US Air Force during the Korean War, then obtaining his BA at the University of Connecticut.  After completing his MA in Theology at Andover Newton Theological Seminary, he was ordained in the United Church of Christ in 1960.  Rev. Stoddard served churches in East Haddam CT, Danbury CT, and Unionville CT where he held the honor of Pastor Emeritus at Unionville Congregational Church upon retirement after 28 years of service. In retirement, Todd served several churches in CT and on Cape Cod as an Interim Pastor.
