The Rev. Ms. Linda J. Reilly passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018, after a brief illness, with her son and husband by her side. She leaves behind her husband, Barry J. Reilly, and son Shaun Reilly, daughter-in-law Megan and granddaughters Madelynn and Elizabeth of Newton, MA.
Raised in Ashburnham, she graduated from Cushing Academy summa cum laude with a degree in philosophy from UMass Lowell, and a Masters of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School. She devoted her personal and professional life to others and spent much of her retirement active in the Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ. Linda was politically engaged and was always willing to lace up her marching shoes to support the social causes that she cared about. In the last ten years of her life, Linda reveled in the joys of grandmother-hood and spent countless hours playing games, reading and swimming with Mady and Elizabeth. Linda was a member of the Environmental Ministries Task Team and a former MACUCC Board member.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Linda’s life at a memorial services on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Edwards Church, 39 Edwards Street, Framingham, MA, 01701. Guests are welcome to join the family for a lunch at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Environmental Ministries Fund of the Massachusetts Conference, United Church of Christ.
