The Rev. Ms. Dorothy A. Fackre, former Associate Pastor at South Congregational Church, UCC, in Centerville, died on Oct. 13, 2017 in Oregon City, OR at 92.  She is survived by her husband, Dr. Gabriel Fackre; daughers Bonnie; Gabrielle (and husband Thomas); Judith; Skye (and husband Christopher); son Kirk (and wife Alice), as well as eight treasured grandchildren and their spouses.

After her five children grew, Dorothy went to Andover Newton Theological School in her sixties, took the call at South Congregational Church, and worked as a group therapist and pastoral counselor through her seventies.

Her memorial service was held at South Congregational Church, 565 Main Street, Centerville, MA on Sunday, October 29th at 3:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christian Camp Meeting Association, 39 Prospect Avenue, Craigville, MA 02632 or to South Congregational Church, UCC, Centerville, MA.
