The Rev. Dr. Richard Clinton Diehl, formerly of  Wallingford, CT died on January 13, 2023.  Richard was predeceased by his wives Sandra Marks Diehl and Mary Frances Whitney Diehl.

Born in York, PA, Richard was a son of the late Ralph E. Diehl and Anna (Danner) Diehl.  Richard served in the US Army during the Korean War, and was a devoted alumnus of his alma maters, Heidelberg College, Andover-Newton Seminary School and Hartford Seminary.  He was a United Church of Christ minister, servicing churches in Connecticut for more than forty years.    Richard loved to play basketball, fish and grow roses.  

All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home of Wallingford, Connecticut has been entrusted with the arrangements.
