The Rev. Mr. Martin W. Perry, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2015.  Rev. Perry was born and grew up in Middleboro, MA. He graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington and Bangor Theological Seminary in Bangor, ME.  He continued his theological education by attending the Pastor’s School at Furman University in Greenville, SC for over 20 years.
 
Martin served as the pastor of Park Congregational Church, UCC in Worcester for 32 years, holding the title of Pastor Emeritus.  After retirement, Martin continued to serve as a supply minister at several area churches. He also served as an Annuitant Visitor for the United Church of Christ by visiting retired clergy and spouses.
 
Martin is survived by his brother, Thomas F. Perry; his sister, Barbara S. Alden and her husband Arthur, all of Myrtle Beach, SC; his nieces, Sheryl Costa and her husband Richard, Debbie Shubert, Dacia Woessner and her husband Barry; grandnephews, Ryan Costa, Shaun Shubert and Matthew Shubert; grandniece, MacKenzie Shubert; great grandnieces, Ella Rae Costa and Lola Catherine Shubert.
 
A visiting period for Rev. Perry was held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 9:00-10:00 AM at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester, MA.  A funeral service followed at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial was private in Nemasket Hill Cemetery, Middleborough, MA.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen Street, 2nd Floor, Framingham, MA 01701.
