And hijacked his universal message of love and acceptance.
Won’t you help us get it back?
The Massachusetts Conference, with a few other Conferences, is partnering with the national setting of the UCC in a pilot project to test new materials created for a Still Speaking 2.0 initiative.

Churches in the Conference are invited to help test these materials - 16 electronic postcards designed for posting on social media, such as the one at right - and provide feedback. The materials are being sent to clergy and churches via email, so that those churches in the test Conferences can try them out first.

"Very soon, all covenant partners within the United Church of Christ will be participating," Conference Minister and President Jim Antal said in an email sent out to clergy, churches and Conference leaders this morning. "For now, we are a part of a select few Conferences who are going to help play with this in its initial stages."

Antal said he is excited to have the Massachusetts Conference be part of the pilot testing.

"I wanted to be sure that the Mass Conference was out front on what I believe signals a new chapter in our public witness by extending the horizon of hope our denomination proclaims," he wrote.

Churches and clergy should look for Antal's email today (Dec. 2), and another coming tomorrow (Dec. 3), for all the materials needed to participate.
