SHARON (08/03/2016) – Silver Lake Conference Center is now seeking a developer to help improve fundraising and cultivate donor relationships with the CT Conference's Outdoor Ministries site. The role of this part-time position will be guiding fundraising, developing the center's donor pool, and managing data collection of donors.

Executive Director the Rev. Ryan Gackenheimer says the new position will help secure the future of outdoor ministries at Silver Lake.

"I am excited about the incredible ministry Silver Lake has provided for nearly 60 years," said Gackenheimer. "As we look to continue sharing the love of God for another 60 years we will expand our ministry team to even better care for this sacred place and all of the people who find their way into God’s care here."

The new position will report directly to the Executive Director. Qualified applicants will have strong financial and fundraising experience, communication skills, interpersonal communication skills, and a commitment to the missions of the UCC and Silver Lake Conference Center.
