Everyone who registers for the 3rd Annual Meeting of the Southern New England Conference by this Friday, June 3, will receive a worship care package in the mail prior to the June 18th meeting.
The items in the boxes have been chosen to help participants create their own sacred spaces for worship, learning and deliberating. Among other items, they include a votive candle, heart-shaped prayer stone and a small altar cloth created and donated by Magnificat Liturgical Artwork. Annual Meeting worship will include communion, and so participants are encouraged to have simple elements of bread and juice available as well.
The worship boxes were packaged by volunteers at the Newman Congregational Church in Rumford, RI, and the Central Congregational Church in Attleboro Falls, MA.
The meeting's theme is A Sure Foundation: Built Upon 400 Years of Service, and the gathering will include vibrant worship, ministry engagement break-out sessions and a keynote address on entrepreneurial ministry by the Rev. Dr. Patrick Duggan, Executive Director of the Church Building & Loan Fund of the United Church of Christ.

The meeting is being held online on June 18, from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Registrants can sign up for Hopin practice sessions prior to the meeting. They can also sign up to attend a hearing on June 7 to discuss developing a process to bring resolutions of Christian conviction to future SNEUCC meetings.
