Emma Brewer-Wallin is a sophomore at Wellesley College where she is double-majoring in Peace & Justice Studies and Religion. While at school, she attends Old South Church in Boston, and at home, First Congregational UCC of Salem, Oregon. She is excited to be exploring a call to ministry with the Central Pacific Conference, where she just became a Member in Discernment. Besides academics and church, Emma is on Wellesley's fencing team and enjoys drinking large amounts of tea with her friends.
Emma will be working at the Conference office on Thursdays through the spring.
"I am especially excited about the opportunity to engage with local churches - whether through preaching, facilitating conversations on our role in responding to climate change, or working with youth to become powerful voices for change in their (church) communities," she said.
Emma can be contacted at ebrewerw@gmail.com.
She joins full-time climate justice intern Alyssa Browning-Gray, who will be on the staff until June. Read more about Browning-Gray here.
