Conference Minister the Rev. Kent J. Siladi today called on churches and their members to continue prayers for the people of Puerto Rico, saying:
To learn more about efforts by the United Church of Christ to assist Puerto Rico's recovery from Hurricane Maria, please visit the UCC's Disaster Response page.
I am mindful that our sisters and brothers in Puerto Rico continue to live with extreme hardship in the aftermath of the hurricane. I invite you to continue to pray and respond in ways that can offer assistance.
I invite you to keep leaders, staff members and congregation members in your prayers who have family members struggling in this difficult time. It is not easy to have family and friends facing such devastation.
