
Ford has worked for six years as the Administrator for Friends of Holcomb Farm in West Granby, where she managed the donor and members database, maintained and updated the website and social media sites and handled accounting and bookkeeping. Her career experience has also include working as a licensed insurance agent, a high school career counselor and an administrator at Trinity College.

"Jill brings extensive work experiences to the position and is deeply committed to the core values of the United Church of Christ. She is an active member of First Congregational Church in Granby and has served in a variety of leadership roles in the congregation. Jill brings extensive planning and organizational skills. Please join me in welcoming her as our newest staff member."
As Registrar and Program Administrator, Ford will provide support for the Regional Ministers, the Associate Conference Minister of Transitions, the administration and oversight of the Registrar functions of the Conference, and support for programs of the Conference.
The position was previously held by Sioux Wilusz, who is moving to the role of Executive Assistant to the Conference Minister. The current Executive Assistant, Cecile, Gilson, is retiring.
Ford said she is excited to take on this new role.
"My local church, First Congregational Church of Granby is my spiritual home and foundation. I love my church. In my work on search committees, I know first hand how the work of the Connecticut Conference impacts ministry in the local setting," she said. "After years of working in the non-profit sector, I am thrilled now to bring my skills and love of the UCC to the Connecticut Conference to further the work of The Church in Connecticut and beyond."
