Global Ministries Missionary to Indonesia John Campbell-Nelson will visit Massachusetts from Dec. 29, 2012 until Jan. 29, 2013.  During that time, John will preach and present about his ministry at Conference churches across the state.

John enjoys sharing the stories of his life in mission in Indonesia. He particularly enjoys preaching and teaching adult Sunday school or leading small group presentations.  While his Sundays have been booked, John has some Saturdays and weekdays still available.  Contact  Karen Methot for his availability.

Biography

John Campbell-Nelson has served with Global Ministries for 31 years. He serves with the Evangelical Christian Church of West Timor, Indonesia, where he serves as staff support for the Synod's Theological Commission and is involved with lay leadership development, in-service training and continuing education for clergy. He also serves as a consultant to other partner institutions in the area.

John was born in Spencer, Iowa, and served at Robbins Memorial Congregational Church UCC in Greenfield, MA from 1996-98. He was ordained by the Presbytery of Riverside, California. His ministerial standing is with the PCUSA and GMIT in Timor. John is married and has two adult children. His wife, Karen, has dedicated herself full-time to their farm in Timor, growing rice and tending farm animals.
