The Massachusetts Conference will be co-sponsoring the 2015 National Church Leadership Institute (NCLI) with the Center for Progressive Renewal in the Boston area August 10 - 13, 2015.

NCLI is an annual event that has been held in Atlanta during the last several years. In response to the geographic location of many past participants, the Center for Progressive Renewal (CPR) decided to relocate the meeting to the Northeast and asked the Massachusetts Conference to join on.

"It is a privilege to work with CPR in planning this event and offering in our home Conference," said Associate Conference Minister Ellie Richardson. "We are excited to also work with Andover Newton Theological School in Newton Centre as the site where NCLI will be held. Their location on the Hill provides substantial onsite parking as well as convenient access to the Green Line T stop."

This year’s NCLI will curate conversations around cultural trendlines as catalysts and metaphors for how church culture can re-imagine itself as we build a just and generous future. The conference will look at the following trendlines: DIY, Local Food Movement, Sharing Economy, the Cloud and Crowdsourcing.

"Please join us for what promises to be both an outstanding educational event as well as an opportunity to meet, network and worship with both lay and clergy church leaders from around the country," Richardson said.

Early registration for the event is now open at: http://progressiverenewal.org/event/ncli-2015/
