A two-video recording set of the May 31st workshop Challenges & Opportunities: Safe Church Policy & Sex Offenders, is now available for viewing online.

The workshop featured Don Clark, General Counsel for the United Church of Christ. it was sponsored by the Massachusetts Conference and filmed in Framingham.

Part one of his presentation, Safe Church Fundamentals, includes elements of Safe Church policy and appropriate use of references, background checks and sex offender registries. This video is 1 hour, 40 minutes. 

Part two of the presentation, Advanced Topics in Safe Church Policy, looks at how to handle convicted sex offenders as congregants. This video is 1 hour, 5 minutes.
