HAMDEN -- The Connecticut Conference held its 3rd Annual Revival Oct. 13 and 14 at Spring Glen United Church of Christ in Hamden, CT.  The two worship services included preaching by the Rev. Dr. Susan K. Smith, founder and executive director of Crazy Faith Ministries and the Rev. Dr. Keith A. Bolton, Senior Pastor of the Liberty Christian Center International in Hartford.

Uplifting music by the the Liberty Music Ministry and Tyra Deboise, Rachel Solomon, Edwin Perez and Nancy Ducharme had people on their feet both evenings.

Conference Minister The Rev. Kent Siladi said all are in need of revival and restoration.

"If we come here tonight and we are anxious and worried about the world in which we live, we need to be revived by the Spirit of God," he said. "If we wonder if hatred and violence and the diminishment of others by people in power is the order of the day, we stand in need of revival. If we are dog tired of racism and homophobia and xenophobia, we need to hear the word of God’s love for all of us."

"Do we need to be revived? Do we need each other?" he asked. "Come, Holy Spirit, come. Let us rejoice and be glad this very night. Revive us, God, revive us again."
