The garden was funded through donations large and small. Finishing touches have been added over the last few months, including two stone benches and a plaque that reads: "Sue's Circle, in loving memory of Susan P. Dickerman, a transformational leader of Jesus' body, a powerful woman of amazing grace, and a beloved mentor with an abiding faith. Serving God in the MACUCC from 1986 - 2012."
Last fall, a team of volunteers planted bulbs that came into bloom this spring, and throughout the spring and summer, various plantings have displayed an array of colors in the circle, which sits between the Edwards House Meeting & Retreat Center and the "barn," which houses the Massachusetts Conference's main office.
Anyone wishing to donate to the ongoing maintenance of the garden can do so by sending a check marked "Sue's Circle" to MACUCC, 1 Badger Road, Framingham, MA 01702.
