A festival of feature, short and documentary films and panelists will be shown April 14-16 at Beneficent Meeting House, RISD Museum and the Cable Car Cinema.

The Rhode Island Black Film Festival celebrates the Black Experience in Film.  The Festival provides a platform for awareness for social justice issues.

From classic black cinema of CABIN IN THE SKY with Ethel Waters to the musical genius of John Coltrane to  the civil rights role of Play write Lorraine Hansberry to Rhode Island filmmaker Kendall Moore, the Rhode Island Black Film Festival is where social justice and cinema take a seat.
