MassEquality, the leading statewide grassroots advocacy organization, is holding a viewing of the documentary Bully. The documentary showcases the pervasiveness of bullying in school systems and the challenges we face in ending the abuse.

Pending legislation in the Massachusetts Legislature, 'An Act Relative to Bullying in Schools', will provide protection from bullying for all students. The bill calls for specific protection from bullying and harassment, based on actual or perceived differing characteristics, such as race, religion, sexual orientation, and gender identity or expression.

A compelling discussion on ways to get involved to stop bullying in their communities will be held following the documentary.
