Volunteer opportunities for the Rainbow Scarves project: Help us take action against anti-LGBT bullying in schools!

We need you! The Rainbow Scarves Project has now collected more than 4,000 scarves, which we'll distribute to every delegate and visitor at General Synod in Long Beach in return for a pledge to take action against bullying--especially against LGBTQ youth!

Volunteers will sign up for the booth where scarves are distributed. We expect demand to be high--so the booth must be staffed when the Exhibit Hall is open (schedule below).

This is a ministry that will help us build a movement of UCC congregations that will advocate for LGBTQ youth in their community. Will you help us? Please take a look at the schedule, and write to Ann Randall at admin@ucccoalition.org to volunteer your time.

We're also seeking volunteers to help at the Coalition's exhibition area--a resource center for Open and Affirming congregations and churches exploring the possibility of an ONA covenant.
