Remembering the Ones We Have Lost
Remembering the Ones We Have Lost
“The deep pain that is felt at the death of every friendly soul arises from the feeling that there is in every individual something which is inexpressible, peculiar to him or her alone, and is, therefore, absolutely and irretrievably lost.” ~Arthur Schopenhauer
Death in this time of pandemic is complicated and communal. It is complicated because we don’t have the opportunity to gather in community to mourn, remember and say good bye. It is communal because we are sharing a common grief and a common experience with people across the globe in a way that we have not experienced before.
This page is your place to share the name of someone you have lost because of Covid-19.
Please be sure that you have permission from their family to share their name.
We invite you, your church’s prayer groups and your church or community of faith and spirituality to hold this list in prayer and to hold those grieving in your hearts.
