United Church of Christ’s National Youth Event will take place at Purdue University in West Lafayette Indiana July 22-25th 2020. This 4 day event is celebrated as the largest denominational gathering. Often bringing in 3,000 participants, this time together is centered on faith, leadership, service and social justice to empower our youth and young adults (ages 12-18).

Registration is now OPEN for the United Church of Christ’s National Youth Event. This event will take place at Purdue University in West Lafayette Indiana July 22-25th 2020. NYE is celebrated as the largest denominational gathering of the UCC with over 3,000 participants expected to attend. The theme is UNITE! and the program will empower youth to center on faith, leadership, service, and social justice.
Who: Young people who have completed 6th through 12th grade.

Where: Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana
Cost: $375 (This includes event registration, housing and meals while at Purdue. It does not include transportation to the event)
Planning to attend?
Step 1. Go to the NYE website and review the registration materials. There is a registration worksheet as well as separate listing for service projects and workshops under the resource tab to assist in your preparation. Indicate 'Southern New England Conference' as your location and be sure to save your confirmation number. Register online for the event and make your payment of $375 per person. Deadline is June 1
Step 2. Plan transportation for your group. Some groups will choose to make their own arrangements. Others may wish to connect with the conference buses, choosing Service or Direct options below.
- Service Bus leaves from Windsor, CT on Monday, July 20 and Youth will work at North Street Mission in Wooster, OH. Cost is $380 pp.
- Direct Bus departs from Framingham, MA on Tuesday, July 21 and cost is $315 pp.
A non-refundable deposit of $100 will reserve your seat on your bus. Note that reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will be responsible for your own transportation if buses are full. Both buses will return to their starting destinations on Sunday, July 26.
Step 3. Apply for an NYE Scholarship if you need additional financial support. We have had generous donations from several sources, so don't let money be an obstacle! Fill out an application form by March 15 to be eligible.
