Making Disciples — Theories and Practices for the 21st Century

How the grounding principles of education, formation, and living in the ways of Jesus can be developed and used to make disciples of all ages in today’s congregations.

Instructor:  Dr. Joshua Lunde-Whitler

Josh (he/his) is a practical theologian, religious educator, and minister for over 15 years, and serves both the church and the academy in various capacities. He teaches theological ethics at Rivier University in New Hampshire, and is the Director of Children, Youth, and Families at Saint Matthews Methodist Church in Acton, Massachusetts (He is a member of South Acton Congregational Church, where his partner, Amy, is the pastor). He also leads the Antiracist Ecumenical Collaborative in Acton-Boxborough. Josh received his Ph.D. in Theology and Education from Boston College in 2018.
