Stress impacts everyone and consciously taking steps to minimize stressors is essential to maintaining our health, well-being, and relationships.  A common additional stressor for authorized ministers centers on personal finance.  Limited resources, lack of clear understanding, and the unique complexities of clergy finance can combine to deepen anxiety for pastors, and as these topics are tied to congregational well-being and the public nature of clergy compensation such stress can be further isolating.  This workshop is intended to identify the components of personal finance for authorized ministers along their professional careers, steps to be taken to establish and maintain financial security, and options for engaging congregations on financial topics too often left undiscussed.  Personal finance is one stressor we can minimize by learning in a community of peers.
