A public forum on the history of slavery in Rhode Island with keynote address by Dr. Christy Clark-Pujara, author of Dark Work: the Business of Slavery in Rhode Island. This background presentation is the kickoff event for the first Witness Stones Project  in RI, an education initiative whose mission is to restore the history and honor the humanity of enslaved individuals who helped build our local communities.
