8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Bring your church family, small groups, or individuals
Join other faith communities and visiting Jewish, Muslim, and Christian youth from Israel
for an engaging interfaith day of service.

Interfaith Volunteer Opportunities on that day include:
Jewish Cemetery: Care and Restoration * Habitat for Humanity: Housing Construction *
Save the Sound Beach Cleanup * Feeding the Poor *Meal preparation and distribution *
Hand paint a Giant 50 foot Peace Mural on New Haven Green * Live Music * Pizza and Salad*
Join the Flash Mob Peace Singers * Visit a Mosque
 
Day of Service Itinerary
8:15 to 8:30     Arrive at the New Haven Green at 8:30 a.m. Temple and Elm (across from the library)
8:30 to 9:00     Divide into interfaith project groups.
9:00                Board buses, walk, or stay on the green
9:30                Arrive at your chosen service project
9:30-12:30       Enjoy fellowship with new faith communities serving others.
12:30              Board Buses back to the green.
12:45 – 3:15    Pizza, Salad, fellowship, interfaith service and ceremonies on the green.
                      Live Music with the Afro-Semitic Experience*
                                *Details are subject to change.
 
We will provide tools, water, and a pizza and salad lunch.  Volunteers should arrive wearing appropriate gloves, clothes, and shoes suited for their chosen project.  We need 10 to 12 habitat volunteers who will work a full day.
 
Tell your Rabbi, Minister, or Imam you want to attend. 
Youth leaders must attend with their youth groups. 
This is a great family day. Bring your house of worship!
