JPWL: Abraham, Sarah, Hagar, and The God Who Sees

Virtual Panel Discussion. Three local faith leaders -- Rabbi Andi Fliegel from Congregation Beth Israel in West Hartford; Aida Mansoor, Director of Field Education at Hartford Seminary; and Rev. Dr. Barbara Headley, Senior Pastor of Zion Community Baptist Church in Springfield, MA -- reflect on the meaning of Hagar's realization that God's love is deep and absolute.

Offered in connection with the international exhibition, ABRAHAM: Out of One, Many : Three religions; three artists; one prophet. Each artist has created paintings that focus on specific themes from Abraham’s life that can guide our world today in living harmoniously, interpreting these themes for our contemporary context. Abraham: Out of One, Many is currently on view at the Mandell Jewish Community Center, 335 Bloomfield Ave, West Hartford, CT 06117.

Register here to receive the Zoom link for the November 4 panel discussion.
