Join the United Church of Christ Musicians Association for our national biennial conference presented fully online from Thursday evening, July 8 to Saturday evening, July 10, 2021. Anyone involved in planning and presenting music, worship and the arts in a church setting is welcome. An array of workshops, worship services, enrichment sessions, marketplace and a concert will be streamed to your digital device and will continue to be available for a month afterwards if you can't take it all in at once.

Our Brave New World conference is hosted by the First Church of Christ, Congregational, UCC in Glastonbury, Connecticut and will serve as the backdrop to our event. You will experience a taste of historic Glastonbury as well as the wealth of Connecticut talent on our faculty. A bit of New England will be yours to enjoy as you renew, regenerate and reload for a new and different church year ahead.

Our closing festival worship service will feature a sermon by the Rev. Dr. John Dorhauer, General Minister and President of the United Church of Christ. Included will be the premier of the winning hymn of UCCMA's hymn competition and contributions by the Hockanum Valley Ringers and the choral group Chorus Angelicus/Gaudeamus. On Friday evening we will present a video concert of music by the seven-time Grammy award winner Paul Winter and his ensemble. Paul Winter is known for his original compositions featuring jazz-inflected music accompanied by the sounds of wild animals. He will offer excerpts from his Summer Solstice events and nature scenes accompanied by live music from his barn and studio in Connecticut. Included will be performances by UConn's Voices of Freedom Gospel Choir and the Hockanum Valley Ringers.

Workshops will tackle a variety of topics related to the church music program. Each session includes a 45 minute video and a live Q&A with the presenter.

All information and registration is available at www.uccma.org. Join us online!
