The Indiana-Kentucky Conference is offering a two-session series for its Conference members (via Zoom) and the wider church (via YouTube live streaming) that addresses the work of creating a worship service that is simultaneously online and in-person, without sacrificing the feeling of engagement and belonging for either type of worshipper.

It will focus on how to plan for a hybrid service:

• Principle Players
• What does it look like?
• How do we market it?
• Tending to multiple audiences

Session Two: Tools and Tech  Premieres here on YouTube
It will focus on what you need to go live, such as:

• What kind of tech will I need?
• How to build it on a budget?
• What do I do if I am not “tech savvy?”
• How does it all work together?
• What do we do “if?”

Our Guide will be Troy Vaupel. Troy Vaupel is the owner of Vaupel Video, a full-service video production company, specializing in broadcast & social media videos, videography & photography, editing, graphic & motion design, story creation & script writing, live streaming services & consultation. In his 20+ years in video production, Troy Vaupel has produced thousands of projects for a variety of clients. Troy is a lay leader with Bethlehem UCC in Evansville serving as their Creative Ministry Director. During the pandemic, Troy helped pre-produce the virtual worship service for their congregation each week. He also supervised installation of equipment to live-stream their worship from the Sanctuary.
