Has your outreach committee been doing the same old projects for decades? Are your outreach leaders burned out or uninspired? Is your church puzzling over how to reach out to the poor and marginalized during the pandemic? Are you seeking to revitalize how you approach outreach in your community?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, please consider joining the New London Urban Outreach Program's virtual workshop titled 'Re-Imagining Outreach.'

During this online workshop, we will expand upon what it means to reach out to those in need, and explore how to make the shift from charity to justice. As in past programs, we will have the opportunity to hear directly from people experiencing economic injustice, and to think theologically about our call to care for the poor and marginalized among us. We will end the program with specific suggestions for how to take action in our communities.

Each of these events will be offered free of charge, though we suggest a $10 donation to support the program.
