CT Wom

CTWUCC has served the historic CT Conference for 91 years. We have worked continuously to empower women to raise their voice and take on leadership roles in the local churches and beyond.
As the CT Conference moves forward into a new, exciting chapter of life in the SNEUCC, our organization is now working to extend its empowerment to women in the SNEUCC.

Candle Croft began as a candle shop in 1973 when Jane
and David Stickney enjoyed making candles as they served small country churches.
Jane learned textile arts from her mother: sewing, embroidery, knitting and finger weaving. Jane has been weaving and designing stoles and other liturgical textiles for more than twenty years.
Hand woven stoles add richness and warmth to the worship setting. Their color, texture and simplicity of design communicate the significance of the season without distracting from the central focus on Word and Sacrament.
Hand woven stoles are made to measure or ready to ship.

As part of its Sustainable Communities work, CREA works with artisans and farmer groups to bring their products to market. We have delicious coffee from Haiti, crafts from Guatemala, chocolate from Ghana and Haiti and Palestinian olive oil. All the artisans and farmers have already been paid for their products. Your purchase of these products results in families being able to feed and clothe their children, children being able to attend school and women to work with dignity and respect.
Please contact us for more information on how to see our products and places orders. Gracias, merci anpil, thank you.

Contact - Jacky Schofield
Through the "Accessible to All (A2A)" initiative, the Disabilities Ministries Team of the SNE Conference seeks to encourage and assist our Local Churches so that all people with disabilities may experience the extravagant welcome that the UCC extends to all people.
We work with churches as they journey toward a better awareness of and accessibility for all people with disabilities in order to foster the understanding that all people are part of the Body of Christ and bring their own special gifts to Christ's Table.
