Technology Director
The Technology Director develops, promotes, and manages the church's digital presence across social media platforms and the web. The Technology Director also provides leadership and oversight of the church's digital ministry and tech team and is responsible for coordinating the church's in-person and live-streamed services. The Technology Director works in conjunction with the pastor and worship team leadership and attends all worship planning meetings. The Technology Director creates digital assets used on live streaming production and social media platforms. The Technology Director stays current on the latest technology and trends in digital ministry and uses best practices to maintain and increase the church's digital engagement across all platforms.
Technology Intern
The Tech Intern works under the direction of the communications and marketing manager in coordination with the pastor.
Responsibilities Include:
- Mixes Front of House (FOH) audio for in-person attendees as well as broadcast audio and video for digital attendees at all principal worship services.
- Set up and strike down of audio equipment when services are being held outside during the summer months.
- Attends all worship planning meetings.
- Ensures there is an understanding concerning the goals for music and sound levels at each service.
- Responsible for same-day post-production and upload of worship service content to social media platforms.
Work Schedule:
- 4-6 hours on Sunday morning and afternoon
- Additional hours will be needed for the following: special holiday service preparation (Holy Week, Easter, Christmas Eve), occasional online broadcast and recording of Weddings, Funerals and Memorial services.
- While most work will be onsite at the church, some work may be off site.
Qualifications: training and experience in sound engineering and video editing
Compensation: $20 per hour
