Position Title: Program Support Associate – Center for Transformational
Leadership
FLSA: Non-Exempt/Part-Time (17.5-hours per week)
Hourly Rate: $25.00/hourly
Location: Hybrid
Reports to: Director for the Center for Transformational Leadership

Position Summary:
The Program Support Associate – Center for Transformational Leadership provides support for the marketing efforts and day-to-day operations of the Center for Transformational Leadership team. This position maintains administrative and clerical duties and provides event coordination and communications to all participants of events, including coordination of accounts-receivables for specific events and groups.
The Program Support Associate – Center for Transformational Leadership serves in an environment and a culture that embodies the 4-part vision of the Southern New England Conference to: Make disciples of Jesus Christ; Make God’s love and justice real; Bring new life as agents of change; and form covenant partnerships, with an emphasis on bringing new life as agents of change especially as it relates to how colleague interactions take place. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
- Provides coordination and serves as liaison to others within the Conference.
- Receives inquiries and communications from churches and individuals seeking clergy and/or lay leadership development and training opportunities.
- Provides intake from churches and individuals seeking help with congregational assessment and discernment.
- Directs questions and resource requests to the appropriate CTL Team member.
- Takes notes during key meetings and sends out meeting minutes as needed.
- Assures that office supplies needed for events are stocked and organized.
- Provides Administrative Support for the Clergy Communities of Practice, including communication with members and facilitators about group enrollment, attendance, facilitator payments and invoicing/payment tracking for participants.
Events
- Maintains events/workshops calendar, both internal and external.
- Creates and posts registration forms and provides follow-up communication.
- Provides logistics for in-person events, including locating and securing sites, arranging any dietary needs for participants and coordinates technology for online events.
- Maintains files/data related to workshops and attendees.
- Coordinates website updates concerning resources and events.
- Coordinates invoicing and tracks accounts-receivables for specific events and groups.
Marketing
- Manages SNEUCC Social media sites, and creates posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. to promote events.
- Works on monthly newsletters including editorial coordination, design, and dissemination.
- Creates flyers and certificates.
- Mails certificates of completion to recipients, as appropriate.
Other Duties
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- The Program Support Associate – Center for Transformational Leadership will be required to participate in Conference-Sponsored events throughout the year
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Two (2) years of Clerical or Administrative experience required.
- High level of attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfort and confidence to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 360 including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Proficiency in creating graphics for social media and flyers using Canva, Unsplash, Design Hub or similar software.
- Strong Writing and Communication Skills.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills; experience working with cross-functional teams.
Data Utilization - Requires the ability to review, classify, categorize, prioritize, and/or analyze data, and/or information. Includes exercising discretion in determining data classification, and in referencing such analysis to established standards for the purpose of recognizing actual or probable interactive effects and relationships.

Equipment, Machinery, Tools, and Materials Utilization - Requires the ability to use computer hardware and software and database systems in regular performance of job duties.
Verbal Aptitude - Requires the ability to utilize a wide variety of reference, descriptive, and/or advisory data and information.
Mathematical Aptitude - Requires the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; ability to calculate decimals and percentages; may require ability to utilize principles of fractions and/or interpret graphs.
Functional Reasoning - Requires the ability to apply principles of influence systems, such as: motivation, incentive, and leadership. Ability to exercise independent judgment to apply facts and principles for developing approaches and techniques to problem resolution.
Situational Reasoning - Requires the ability to exercise the judgment, decisiveness, and creativity required in situations involving the evaluation of information against sensory, judgmental, or subjective criteria, as opposed to that which is clearly measurable or verifiable.
ADA Compliance:
Physical Ability - Tasks involve the ability to travel to meetings outside office, exert moderate physical effort, and may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials up to 20 pounds. Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation and/or repetitive motion.
Sensory Requirements - Some tasks require visual perception and discrimination. Requires oral communications ability.
Environmental Factors - Tasks are occasionally performed with exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise extremes, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, traffic hazards, animals/wildlife, toxic/poisonous agents, or pathogenic substances.
