The primary role of the Music Director at Brimfield UCC is to assure that music is offered at all Sunday morning church services and special services.  They are expected be able to play either the organ, piano, or other instruments and lead the choir. They are invited to implement other programs that add to the overall musical offerings of the church and to share their knowledge in the planning of thematic worship with the pastor.
The music director will take into account Brimfield UCC's Open and Affirming status, including the use of inclusive language, celebrate music from multiple genres, time periods, and cultures, and help the congregation to find God through their spiritually led offerings. Creativity welcome!
