The Lead Hospitality Associate supports the Executive for Camps & Retreats in fulfilling the full range of responsibilities required in providing hospitality to Edwards House and Irons Homestead guests. This position organizes, coordinates, and communicates activities related to customer service and retreat record keeping. The Hospitality Associate serves as co-registrar and shares responsibility for record keeping and reporting as needed and participates in Edwards community events and in fundraising activities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serves as or use Co-registrar in the scheduling of retreats and events
- Ensures that all legally required practices are met prior to the arrival of any retreat
- Offers superb customer service to assure guests are met with the radical hospitality for which the UCC is known
- Sets up the rooms for each meeting or event; performing custodial and event support duties as needed
- Ensures health and safety standards are always met in preparation, cooking, and serving nutritionally balanced meals for guest of Edward House
- Cleans and refresh sleeping rooms/guest quarters; maintaining linens and housekeeping supplies when needed
- Maintains inventory of stock, and order/replenish as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- The Lead Hospitality Associate will be required to participate in Conference-Sponsored events throughout the year
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must be ServSafe Certified or willing to attain within 30 days
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Quality Food Preparation required
- Two (2) years of Clerical or Administrative experience preferred
- Food preparation skills adequate to follow or prepare the required menu cycles
- Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards
- Ability to manage many details and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to operate food service equipment safely and properly
- Ability to work flexible days, evenings, and weekends a must
- Excellent Interpersonal skills, an initiative taker who brings enthusiasm to the team
- Strong Organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Ability - Tasks involve the ability to travel to meetings outside office, exert moderate physical effort, and may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials up to 60 pounds. Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation and/or repetitive motion.
Sensory Requirements - Some tasks require visual perception and discrimination. Requires oral communications ability.
Environmental Factors - Tasks are occasionally performed with exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise extremes, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, traffic hazards, animals/wildlife, toxic/poisonous agents, or pathogenic substances.
