First Congregational Church of Watertown CT, UCC, is seeking a Director of Faith Formation and Family Outreach.  The DFF will oversee and administer our Church School program which serves approximately 40 children.  There will be a focus on outreach to families in our community who may be drawn to Church School and to other programs such as Vacation Bible School, family fellowship events, and more.
 
The position requires a strong commitment to the teaching and progressive Christian values of the United Church of Christ.  First Church, Watertown, is an Open and Affirming Congregation of the UCC.  Candidates will be committed to inclusion of children with diverse needs, family situations, and abilities.  Patience, creativity, a sense of humor, and the ability to work with families, adults and church leadership are also required.  Candidate should be proficient in use of computers, email, social media, texting, and other digital media.
 
Salary is $18,000 per year, 14-16 hours per week average.  Benefits include flexibility, blend of in-person and at-home working hours, and fewer hours in the summer.  Healthcare benefits are not included.
