Seeking part time Church Administrator to staff our church office, overseeing the administrative flow of the church.  Responsible for creating all church communications, including weekly and monthly publications. Also for managing building use including rentals, use of the space and building presentation. Also supervises building maintenance employees and contractors to ensure cleanliness of the building. Responsibilities also include communicating with members of the congregation by phone and email, greeting visitors, and maintaining databases.

The successful candidate will enjoy working with people and have excellent organizational skills, strong communications skills, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to take ownership of a project.  Requirements include flexibility, confidentiality, and general office management.  Experience using Constant Contact or similar email marketing platform and Google suite required.

The Church Administrator works with a full-time pastor, part-time music director and music staff, and part-time building maintenance employees. The Church Administrator reports to an administrative team of church members who also work in collaboration with the church administrator. Required Preferred
  • High school diploma
  • Must be a self-starter and capable of independent work while also being part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Experience in office management and customer service
  • Proficiency in MS Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel; Google Suite (including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Google Calendar)
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working with volunteers and supervising others
  • Website (Word Press) and social media experience strongly preferred
  • Church database experience (Breeze a plus)
  • Proficiency in PC usage and software including calendar/scheduling, interactive databases, social media and other cloud- and web-based products such as Word Press; Facebook; Constant Contact; graphic design and/or Canva a plus
