#UCCSynod: Empowered to be the Best Me I Can Be

#UCCSynod: Empowered to be the Best Me I Can Be

I'm waiting for the SNEUCC to begin our first caucus and I am ready and excited to be energized to work with fellow delegates and to do God's work. I hope today to be inspired and given tips and tricks on how to have a successful online synod/as well as how to be the best delegate I can be. I believe the conference training and the national training have helped me to feel a bit prepared, and now I'll just put my best foot forward. One of the biggest lessons that I remember as I take on leadership roles and step into new communities is a lesson from my home pastor Rev. Sara Smith. That is to remember where I come from and who I represent: my community, my family, my church, and most importantly, God, who lives inside of me. I feel empowered to be the best me I can be.

Good luck GS33 and I hope I can serve well.
