As a Commissioned Minister in the United Church of Christ, and a lifelong CT resident, I have served 4 local congregations and the historic CT Conference, United Church of Christ prior to the Southern New England Conference.  Years ago, as a young mother with two daughters and a career path in early childhood education, I was a busy volunteer at my church. I was actively involved in the Colchester Federated Church (CT), where my journey in faith formation began. Thanks to an invitation from church leaders and then pastor, Rev. Dr. Davida Foy Crabtree, I began a part-time position as the Director of Christian Education. I couldn't have known then the joyful (and at times challenging) path God had called me to. Through the years, I attended the School of Spirituality at Mercy Center in Madison, CT., and a number of workshops, classes, and programs that deepened my love of accompanying folks of all ages on their faith journey.

My tenure at the historic CT Conference began as Director of the Ruth Dudley Resource Center and later as Minister of Faith Formation and Leadership, in a full time capacity. The work was diverse and I continued to learn with and from colleagues and leaders in local congregations.  I've served on the Association of United Church Educators and the New England Association (NEAUCE) event planning team.  My love of worship and daily spiritual practices bring me closer to God and are a perfect fit for my Faith Formation Team focus in worship and spirituality. My role in the SNEUCC also includes being a member of the Innovation Team, as the Leadership Development Specialist. I love times of holy listening in consultation with churches and their leaders and I am eager to further develop and expand opportunities for discipleship and connection such as Communities of Practice.

A favorite go-to resource is d365.org, an online daily devotional with music, prayer, scripture, reflection. I love walking the many trails throughout New England and I look forward to what God has in store in Southern New England. No doubt it will mean supporting and partnering with the leadership of our congregations and our clergy; forging new and innovative paths to meet the diverse needs of our communities as together we live the love and justice of Jesus.
