Thank you all for your prayers to our friends in Haiti. We have reached all our key people in each of the schools, community centers and orphanages with which we work. They are all safe -- including the sites in and near Miragoane -- an area that is closer to the part of the country that suffered the most damage. Our prayers are still much needed.
Many have asked how they can help. The most efficient way to help those with the greatest need is: to respond to the special fundraising appeal by One Great Hour of Sharing. OGHS can provide disaster relief to the areas that need it most. As a matter of fact, after the Earthquake in 2010, a One Great Hour of Sharing assisted our Haiti Task Force by providing a generous grant to purchase a solar electrical system for one of the orphanages we assist. Please keep all our friends in Haiti in your prayers.
