Sisters and brothers in Christ,
As you know, at the end of 2012, Susan Dickerman completed 26 years of ministry in the Massachusetts Conference so that she could expand her work across the country and across denominations through a new project, the Pastoral Excellence Network.
I am sorry to share the news that in recent days doctors have discovered a recurrence of the cancer which she overcame a few years ago. In response, Susan has resigned her position with the Pastoral Excellence Network so that she can focus on her health and regain her strength.
In addition to lifting her in our daily prayers, here are some things we can do to express our love and concern for her and to celebrate Sue’s remarkable ministry with us:
On Saturday, April 6, 2013, we will have an opportunity to thank God for Sue’s leadership, to honor the ministry she has shared with us in the Massachusetts Conference, and to pray for her healing.The service of worship will be held on
