The Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless, supported by the Homelessness Task Team of the MACUCC, is thrilled that both the Senate and the House included language in their respective final budgets to create a Special Commission to examine the needs of unaccompanied youth.

The budget is now in the Conference Committee process, and your help is needed to advocate for the Commission! Please contact your legislators and ask them to tell the conferees that they would like to see the Senate language (as redrafted in Amendment 584) included in the compromise budget.  You can view the language and learn more about the Commission here.
