Friends,

This has been and continues to be a week.  In fact I am not sure what superlatives or hyperbole best fits.  But I am sure in the wake of our national elections of the need for conversation: a conversation that offers a chance to process our feelings and think through some ways to faithfully respond.  Our UCC has a great banner called "Be The Church"   It asserts some common values that I believe we and our brothers and sisters, both ecumenically and interfaith, might embrace. 

• Be the Church
• Protect the environment.
• Care for the poor.
• Embrace diversity.
• Reject racism.
• Forgive often.
• Love God.
• Fight for the powerless.
• Share earthly and spiritual resources.
• Enjoy this life.

I am wondering if there are folks who would like to gather for that chance to talk through feelings and share ideas and possibilities around these values. Invite your church members and neighbors.

To that end I am offering 2 gatherings:
Wednesday, November 16 - Needham Panera at 6:30 PM
Thursday, November 17 - Danvers (Liberty Tree Mall) at 5:00 PM
