As we emerge from the pandemic, we find ourselves looking at ministry through a new lens. What kind of leaders are needed as we move forward and plot a new course for faith formation?
- Those who are willing to experiment and initiate change.
- Those who can mobilize groups of people for action.
- Those who not only invite newcomers into the community of faith, but also inspire them with a compelling and relevant message.
Your SNEUCC Faith Formation team wants to supply you with resources to scale to new heights in your ministry. Join us for the Faith Formation Summit on Saturday, September 18 as we explore Relationships, Resilience and Re-Entry in a virtual event.
Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Lori Kniffin assistant professor of leadership studies at Fort Hays State University. Dr. Kniffin has extensive background with the Kansas Leadership Center, a non-profit committed to fostering leadership for stronger, healthier, and more prosperous communities.
She will focus on adaptive leadership skills, tools for inspiring change and mobilizing groups of people. The program will outline diagnostic utensils to help you observe, interpret, and intervene in the challenges you face. You will also be blessed with a time of worship with Dr. Audrey Price and the SNEUCC Faith Formation team and opportunity to network with your peers and SNEUCC colleagues.
The fee is $20 per person, or $30 for groups from the same congregation. Faith Formation CoP Facilitators may attend free of charge. The program runs from 9 am to 1 PM on Zoom.
