Lucy Costa
Lucy Costa is a recovery caseworker with the American Red Cross of Massachusetts. She has been a volunteer with the Red Cross since 2005 when she deployed to Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina. She also is a longtime member of Old South Church in Boston. She has worked in the domestic violence and youth development fields. She holds a Masters degree in social policy and nonprofit management from the Heller School at Brandeis University. As a caregiver to her parents and a Girl Scout leader and Sunday school teacher, she is passionate about making sure that older people, people with disabilities and children are prepared for disasters, and receive appropriate support and resources after disasters.
